Urban Decay Smoky Palette Pre-Launch at House of Fraser

Urban Decay Smoky Palette
Around a month or so ago I put my name down on the waiting list in House of Fraser for the Smoky Palette then just last week I received a phone call inviting me to the Pre-Launch in store.
Obviously, this was something I was not going to turn down as I was so excited to see and purchase the new palette.

The pre-launch event was to show how to recreate the 4 new looks included within the palette and we also had a chance to look at a few of the other products that were being released.
It was such a good night to see how the experts applied the shadows onto the models and I came away with some new tips and tricks to try.
We also received a booklet which included the steps and images to create 3 more looks with the Smoky shades

I have already reviewed the palette, (here!), but I had to include some images from the night because it was lovely.
There was around 15 other people there and first of all we watched a couple of demonstrations, we then had crisps, (Smoky bacon, of course!), and chocolate before seeing a couple more demonstrations.
Whilst the demonstrations were being completed we also were passed the other new products including the Matte Lipsticks, Brow Beater and Brow Tamer to have a look at.
After the demos had been finished came the fun part, we were able to try the products including the new Matte Lipsticks and actually purchase our palettes and anything else that we fancied.

I bought the Smoky palette, Brow Beater and a top up of Perversion mascara and I also left with a goody bag/box full of samples and a free handbag sized Setting Spray.

The samples we were given were awesome, I had samples of a few different Naked foundations, the Naked flushed palette, Sheer Revolution Lipsticks in 4 shades and then my favourite was the famous Eyeshadow Primer Potion which I only just recently ran out of!

Something I didn’t realise until the event was how much of an Urban Decay junkie I am, it felt like every product they used was one I already owned and I still managed to expand my collection before I left!
