Pink Pop – Colour Refresh by Maria Nila

I happened to stumble across this product whilst watching Victoria @ InTheFrows June Favourites video on YouTube and thought as I am no longer spending money on my hair, (until we have the mortgage deposit!), I would give the colour refresh in Pink Pop a try.
I am always really dubious about dying my hair at home as I have had a few disasters in the past that I thought would save me money but ended up costing a lot more!

(Unedited images so you can see the true colour difference!)

This product is so quick and easy to use, all you have to do is apply to shampooed, not conditioned, towel dried hair and then leave for between 3 – 10 minutes dependent on how vibrant you would like the colour to be before rinsing off and conditioning. Overall it took me around 45 minutes to from shampooing to blow dry to have pink hair again, normally this can take between 2 – 7 hours when I have visited a salon!
Before I used this product my hair was pretty blonde as I have had it bleached a few times over the past couple of months however there is still a hint of blue at the ends from some previous colour, I was hoping that the pink would react and change it purple and it did so I now have pink all over with a few subtle hints of purple at the ends of my hair.
The product itself, as well as being easy to use smells amazing I think it kind of smells like sweets, is also Paraben and Sulphate free, uses 100% vegan ingredients and is packed with Argan Oil so after I blow dried my hair it felt so soft, not like I had just coloured it at all.
The product itself is temporary so it will only last between 2 – 4 washes, which for me would mean around a month as I only wash my hair once a week. I bought my bottle from Sally’s as normally the product is £16 but because I do have a Sally’s card it only cost £12. Judging by the amount left in the bottle I have another 2 -3 applications left which means around 3 – 4 months of having pink hair has only cost me £12, bargain!
As well as the Pink Pop this product comes in a variety of colours so I will be buying a few more colours to try and will try to experiment a bit more, next time I am going to use Vivid Violet and Pink Pop and have a play around to see how it turns out!
Have you tried any products from Maria Nila before? What do you think of them?
