If you have read any of my other My Little Box reviews you will know this is my absolute favourite beauty box and when I heard that Fleur de Force was helping with the Christmas box I was so excited. Fleur is a Beauty and Fashion blogger and is one of the bloggers who inspired me to start a blog of my own, her blog is beautiful and I love the way she writes, (and vlogs!), if you haven’t seen her blog yet, you should.
When I saw the front of the box I just knew the contents would be just as lovely, as always!
I have used a lot of L’Occitane products before, mainly hand or hair products but I have never had the chance to try this cream. It is marketed as a cream to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, boost the skin’s firmness and offer lasting anti-ageing protection.
I have been using this cream for the past week and my skin feels so smooth and lovely, the cream is quite thick so you do not need a lot when you do use it so a little really does go a long way.
This cream has quite a neutral smell which I like in face creams, anything too powerful does put me off a product. I would definitely recommend using this cream but as much as I love it I am not sure if i will be buying it soon as it i quite expensive and costs £45.00 for 50 ml.
Cowshed Wild Cow Invigorating Body Lotion
Cowshed is a brand that I have never heard of before which is exactly why I subscribe to these beauty boxes. This is a nice body lotion that includes essential oils and shea butter to moisturise and tone your skin.
I liked using this product however I was unsure of the smell, the oils used are lemongrass, rosemary and ginger and as much as I love the smell of the lemongrass, the smell of the other oils are slightly overpowering. This is a lovely body lotion and I would love to try some other Cowshed products but I will not be purchasing a full size body lotion due to the smell.
I can honestly say I have never used a lipstick that comes in a cardboard case…until now! This is a lipstick from My Little Box own range My Little Beauty.
I have used a few of the My Little Beauty range as you review a full size product with each box and I do love the brand, even if they don’t currently ship to the UK.
I don’t normally use red lipsticks a I usually prefer a darker berry or nude lip but this is the perfect shade of red for my skin tone and to be honest I think it would most likely suit most skin tones.
This product has great staying power and I only needed one coat to get full coverage on my lips.
