My new secret weapon.
A primer and moisturiser all in one and packed full of natural products. The incredible Magical Moringa facial moisturiser from Lush Cosmetics.
A product that feels rather waxy to touch which then melts into a silky smooth oil and once applied to the face sets as a powder.
This 75g pot is packed full of different oils and butters which seep into your skin to not only moisturise but prime the skin ready for foundation too.
A few of the oils and butters that are used to create this magical pot of moisture include argan oil, moringa oil, shea butter and one of my favourite ylang ylang oil.
I did receive this a couple of weeks ago and I have been using it everyday since as part of my daily facial routine so I could give a full review on this product as I have heard so many amazing reviews.
The first time I used the magical moringa I don’t think I allowed it to set properly as when I applied my foundation it didn’t change my skin at all.
After my first slip up I have been allowing this to fully set on my face, which normally takes between 5 – 10 minutes, before applying any make up.
I have found that using this has made my foundation a lot longer wearing and although it seems greasy when applying I haven’t noticed my skin or make up feeling greasy during the day.
Something I have to mention is the scent of this product, it smells fantastic!
I can’t seem to pin point exactly what it reminds me of, I also got my boyfriend to have a smell and he can’t seem to figure it out either. Although maybe it could be the smell of oils reminding me of my beauty therapy training quite a few years ago now.
Part of the reason I do love this scent is most likely due to the ylang ylang, it has always been one of my favourite essential oils.
I would say this product is a little on the pricey side for Lush but I will be purchasing it when this pot runs out as for the money it has improved the look and feel of my skin and because you only need a small amount to feel the affect this pot is lasting a lot longer than I thought it would!
Magic is the name and I would definitely say this is one magical Lush product I will be buying time and time again.
Have you tried any of the new Lush products? Which one is currently your favourite?
