July Favourites

Wow how is it August already? July just seems to have flown by in the blink of an eye but with it brought so much happiness and was full of surprises. There are so many things I could mention in this months favourites but I have managed to narrow it down to 5!

Engagement Ring

We’re Engaged

If you hadn’t noticed! I have only mentioned it once or twice on my social media accounts and managed top pop it into 2 blog posts

already, (The Bride Diaries – The Proposal and 20 Thoughts for 27 Years). Such a wonderful surprise whilst walking through the

majestic gardens of Saltram House National Trust, I honestly this I am still on cloud 9. With an engagement comes a lot of wedding planning so I have created a new series of blog posts, The Bride Diaries.

Keep an eye on the planning progression and any issues I will most likely encounter on the way!

Birthday Balloon - Favourites

Birthday

The week after our engagement came my 27th (eek!) birthday, after a surprise meal on the Saturday

surrounded by our families we then spent a beautiful sunny day of what may be our wedding venue.

Once it has been booked I can’t wait to share where we will finally be made man and wife after 6 years together.

 Little Mix Glory Days

Little Mix – Glory Days Tour

My trip to Powderham Castle to see Little Mix was slightly overshadowed by our engagement the day after

but I have to say it was one of the best gigs I have been to.

The girls voices were absolutely incredible, I have no idea how they can sing like that

and dance all at the same time! The only downside to the gig has the be

I could hardly see not only the stage but the screens too, lots of children were on their mum

and dad’s shoulders.

So I have learnt, next time I will be taking my own tall person who can hold me up for more visibility!

All of the FoodThe Treasury Mac N Cheese

Jake and I rarely go out for food, we got so used to saving for the house that now we have been in the

house for a year we still try and save as much as possible which includes not going out for food if we can cook.

This month I have been to quite a few places for food, Wildwood (twice!) and The Treasury to name a couple and

I had forgotten how much I enjoy treating myself to some fancy food out, and not having to cook.

I am determined to try and make Jake go out for a meal once a month just to have a little date night, and so I can get out of cooking!

Huda Beauty Rose Gold, KKW BeautyNew Makeup

I was a little naughty this month and bought myself not only the KKW Beauty Contour Kit

on first release, may I add before I had see any reviews, but also the Huda Beauty Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette.

Plus some other high street bits and bobs I imagine. I have reviewed and written a

post on the good, the bad and the ugly parts of these products so these

will be live and ready to read over the next couple of weeks.
