If you read my review on the January Birchbox you will know I was fairly disappointed in the products I received. I was hoping that this months would be more overwhelming and it is….slightly, although in this months box there are 2 products that I have already had in my boxes last year so less brand introduction this month! Read on to see my thoughts on the products.
This is a serum that can be used morning and night before moisturising to help perfect your skins complexion.
I have been using this for the past few days and my skin has felt and looked amazing! This product has a milky texture and a really neutral smell so as well as this being lightweight it doesn’t have an overwhelming smell.
I do really love this product but it is quite expensive, (£45 for 30 ml!), so I don’t think I will be purchasing this for myself but it is is an excellent sample!
This is one of the products I have previously received, in the exact same shade as last time.
You can use this on your lips or cheeks and although it does look really red it does leave more of a light pink colour on both cheeks and lips.
I do prefer the Benefit Benetint as the colour is more vibrant and it does last slightly longer than Stainiac, this is still a good dupe and is slightly less than the benefit range so if you would like a lovely tint but do not want to pay Benefit prices this is the product for you.
I have tried a KMS products previously and this product is definitely up to standard, this is really helpful when straightening hair to tame any flyaways.
I am very lucky that I do have super straight hair so I don’t often use any products that are labelled as frizz taming as I don’t generally need them but I have been using this as a heat protector before blow drying and styling my hair.
I have noticed the ends of my hair don’t feel as dry as they previously did so I have found that although the product may be labelled as containing frizz you can still use it on other types of hair!
I have previously used the Wild About Beauty highlighter, (which is pretty awesome!), so I am familiar to this brand.
The first thing I noticed about this ‘tinted moisturiser’ is it came out rather dark so I was pretty nervous about applying it to my face and it being a lot more tanned than the rest of me. However, I was pleasantly surprised when after blending the product in it was not as dark as I thought it would be and there was a nice glow to my face.
What I didn’t like about this product is the company have decided ‘Golden Glow’ means glitter and it reminds me of wearing body glitter to my year 6 disco!
I have not had a chance to try this yet but I will update you when I have!
