So this is only a few weeks later than planned as I seemed to be mega busy over the Christmas period, but it is finally here!
This months box was designed by the fabulous Sophia Webster, if you haven’t heard of her you definitely should as her shoes are absolutely out of this world. I unfortunately missed the Sophia Webster sample sale whilst I was in New York and sadly the closest I got was driving by in a open top bus.
December’s box included 2 full size products and an exclusive Sophia Webster purse, this has been one of the best boxes I have received and the products included this month really did fit in well with the Christmas season.
I love Benefit but more than that I love this highlighter, I actually already own a larger sample and a full size Highbeam but you can never have too many highlighters!
The consistency and staying power of this product is second to none and this is one of the few highlighters I will use when I am contouring my face as it is just so easy to blend.
You do have a brush in the lid to use when applying this product which is fairly good but I do normally use my MAC brush to apply.
P.S: How cute is the little cracker!
This is the first time I have heard of this brand but their products seem to have some rather good reviews, however I was not too keen on this mask as the smell was too overwhelming for me.
The consistency of the mask was lovely, I found it easy to apply and remove and my skin felt really smooth after I took the mask off but due to the smell this is not a product I would purchase myself.
This is the second Eyeko product I have tried and it is just amazing!
I got the shade Smoke and I have been able to create the perfect smokey eye every time I have used it, if you do struggle with the smoke eyed look, (it is very easy to make yourself look like a panda!), this is the product for you. If the smokey eye look is not for you, you can use this as an eyeliner instead which looks just as beautiful.
This is another brand that I have been introduced to by Birchbox and it is awesome. I used this shampoo for the first time after I had been swimming, chlorine really drys my hair out but this shampoo made it feel so hydrated and nourished after one wash.
I do think it would work even better if you use the conditioner too, this is going to be a definite purchase, (shampoo and conditioner!), in the very near future.
As you may have noticed in some of my previous posts you will know I don’t like products that has an overwhelming smell, I prefer a more neutral smell and this has just that.
This product really polished my skin and made it feel just wonderful.
I own quite a few of the Models Own nail polishes and this one is a beautiful shade of green, which matches my hair!
There is a reason I own a lot of different colours and that is due to the consistency and durability of the polish, I only ever use two coats and it doesn’t chip for days.
Sophia Webster This little coin purse designed by Sophia Webster is so cute and would of been perfect for New York, if only it had arrived before I went and not whilst I was there! The shoes that Sophia Webster designs are more a work of art than shoes, I would love to own a pair and I am gutted that I missed the sample sale in New York. That would of been an amazing souvenir from my favourite city in the world. Idf you are an avid shoe lover/collector like I am you should definitely check out the website…there is currently a sale on too! This box was fabulous, the box itself was beautiful and the products inside were perfect for the Christmas season. I had silky, smooth skin, the perfect smokey eye and glittery nails to match my hair! What did you think of the products in this months box? Have you tried this beauty box or any others?
