(They look better than the ones I took on my phone!)
This is a slightly late post but I have had an absolutely manic week after travelling to and from London, (5 hours each way!), buying a new car and a lot of other things but I can finally share with you what I thought of the Company #BSHS that I attended last Thursday.
8 bloggers were asked to style 8 brands each with a different theme. This fashion show was so different to all fashion shows I have ever been to! Gone were expressionless models and in were models dancing, messing around with each other and smiling, I loved it as it made such a change!
I have picked out around 3 of my favourite outfits from each brand and the photos from the catwalk are below.
Nina Nesbitt performing live, she was absolutely amazing!
I haven’t included any photos of my outfit from the evening as that will be in a separate blog post in the next day or so!
We had an amazing time in the Tobacco Dock where the event was held, that place is beautiful. After arriving we received our free cocktail then headed over to a different space where you could get your hair, make up, eyelashes, glitter tattoos or glitter lips done. Unfortunately the queues were humongous so we were unable to indulge but from what we saw it all looked awesome.
We then went in the room the show was being held and found our table which was beautifully decorated. The table had bread rolls and a couple of plates which has cheese, parma ham, olives and anchovies to pick at, this all went fairly quickly!
The show itself was awesome, I’m not sure about everyone else but when I think of a fashion show, I think of stern faced models in high end outfits that are absolutely beautiful but a lot of the time unwearable. I love fashion shows but I have to admit the Company #BSHS runway was incredible! It was so fun to watch as all the models looked they they were enjoying themselves and because all of the stores are from the high street the outfits were totally wearable. I must admit there was only a handful of outfits that I wouldn’t wear.
After watching the show we were then treated to the goody bag below which included so many different items from Next, Paul Mitchell, Sleek Make Up, Real Techniques and a load of other brands. We came away from the show feeling pretty spoilt and there may be a few product reviews on some of the items we received popping up pretty soon!
Overall it was an amazing night, we met a lot of new people and I really enjoyed the first night I have had out in London so I am really hoping I am going to get to go to many more of these events!
If you would like to watch the full runway videos you can watch them on Company Magazines website here, and also shop the look from the video too! I may have already snuck in a few purchases.
If you went to the Company #BSHS, what did you think of the evening?
