I turned a quarter of a century at the end of last week so on top of some beautiful presents, (the 2 dresses pictured below, full outfit posts to follow!), my boyfriend decided to surprise me with a trip down to the beautiful town of Tintagel, Cornwall to stay the night in the lovely Camelot Castle.
Even though it did rain alllll day on Friday we still managed to have a little wander around the town and the grounds of the castle, we may have got absolutely soaked but it was worth it for the views.
After exploring the castle we had a lovely meal in the restaurant and at the end of the meal I was served my chocolate fondant dessert with happy birthday confetti and a candle.
After the meal we bumped into the owner and the artist who lives in the castle, we had a tour down to the artist studio where he gifted me a painting from his new exhibition!
On Saturday the weather was beautiful and we had a walk all around the castle and town of Tintagel which took us past the ruins of the original Tintagel castle and along a stunning coastal path where we ended up back at Camelot Castle.
After a drink in a cute beer garden overlooking the sea it was back to sunny old Plymouth where I was surprised with a Princess Party by my best friend.
There was everything a princess needs, presents, tiaras, chocolate frogs and of course party rings!
On Sunday there was torrential rain all day so to round the weekend off it was a hot chocolate drinking, Harry Potter watching duvet day!
